Well, the answer is a definite no.
I have gotten conflicting reports as to what they actually are, though. I have found claims that they are actually Siberian Husky pups. And I also read that they were bred and developed to look like wolves. They are supposed to be an especially boisterous breed, and only a true dog lover would want one. I also read that Sophie Turner, the actress who plays Sansa Stark, fell in love with hers and decided to keep it for real.
Where is the HBO show filmed?
The beautiful opening snow scenes were filmed in Northern Ireland. Now I really want to go there! Most of the series was shot in Northern Ireland. Other filming locations were Scotland and Malta.
The Game of Thrones sets are beautiful. How much did it cost to film?
It is rumored that the pilot episode production costs were well over 5 million dollars. Total budget for the first season of ten episodes has been estimated at 60 million dollars.
